ISO 484 is a popular standard for propeller manufacturing tolerances. Many repair professionals are familiar with ISO 484 because it is the basis for modern electronic propeller inspection devices. Session 1:

New Tool Introduction – The Digital Scan Arm

This session will offer a closer look at the new Digital Scan Arm being introduced by Linden Propeller Co. at the NMPA Annual Convention. It will focus on how the software will be easier to use, and display various ways of interpreting the propeller damage for comparison to other blades. The session will highlight the neat way the scan arm can be retracted in space so that the technician can bend the blade in any way shape or form and not have to worry about damaging  the Scan Arm tool itself. Benefits such as bending and measurement on one platform will be featured to highlight how this innovative tool will be saving a great deal of time and energy by eliminating the need to move the propeller from the straightening table to the scanners for measurement and back.
